I thought that I wanted to change , but I didnt want to do the work that it took to get the change that I so wanted . I was addicted to drugs for so long that I believed I would never be normal again. Drugs ruled my life ,I thought I needed them to survive. I could not handle any thing with out being high to do it. That is not really handling anything. Every discision was made clouded by drugs . My family got me into a really good rehab that changed my life.

The addict is in a vicious cycle of using drugs , hiding the fact, lying about the drug use and even stealing to support more drug use . At each turn, the addict is committing more dishonest acts and creating more damage in his life and in his relationships. Clean and sober is a great place to be . If you are addicted get the help that you need. Most addicts need long term treatment. Dont mess around with your life. I know first hand what an addict thinks, I can quit any time I want to, its not relly that bad to have to go for treatment, will let me tell ya that all the addicts that are in the cemetery thought the same things. GET HELP ! !!!

Three years ago I could not say that any thing was good except for the drugs that I was taking. Even then the drugs were not doing what they once had done. My life was a wreck , I lied to everyone that I loved , stolen from them , cheated,any thing I could do to get my drugs.
